Amalie Jakobsen has produced two new sculptures, the first in her brand new series exploring the possibilities of the natural world coupled with AI. Using generative design, she reverse engineered the mycelium of two different fungi, the software has interpreted the mushrooms and developed algorithmic connections between the mushroom caps. The resulting sculptures are hybrid proposals of natural structures fused with machine learning.
